The Irritec Perma-Loc 5/8" Tape X Low Flow Auto Flush Valve has a 3/4" NPT when the flush cap is removed.  Make sure the perma-loc collar is screwed all the way up on the fitting, push the tape on over the barb and then reverse the collar back over the tape for a reverse thread secure leak-proof installation.
